#UNCHARTED 3 GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION DLC ON DICS OFFLINE#
Forget the flaws, the online and offline game play is too fun to miss out on. Bottom line: this game is absolutely amazing. I want to be realistic with you, this game isn't perfect, but it's still the best there is. I hope I don't discourage any of you from buying this game. (you'll learn soon enough, because you should buy this game!). Some of the flaws include: poor cover system, unbalanced weapons (many have been addressed so far though), overpowered blindfire (hipfire), overpowered melee, etc. Loadouts, or classes, now allow you to choose your guns versus pickup weapons with a default class for everyone. The game play is much more fast paced, with the addition of sprint capabilities. If you have played the Uncharted 2 multiplayer you should expect a lot of change.
If it didn't have those flaws, I couldn't mention a game that could hold a candle to Uncharted. But even with those huge flaws this game is still the best one the market at this time. If any other game had the kind of massive flaws the this game has I wouldn't give it a second thought. There is just something indescribable that keeps me coming back the Uncharted 3 multiplayer, no matter how frustrating it can get. This offers countless hours of fun with friends or just some random peeps.
This mode also has its own treasures that drop randomly from fallen enemies that unlock character items (hats, glasses, serious Sully bling, etc.). Each one of these rounds is either goldrush, siege, or survival. Goldrush (a capture-the-flag style objective), siege (a king-of-the-hill style objective), and survival (well, just like it sounds) are all combined in a game made up of 10 rounds. Anyway, this is great mode much less stressful then competitive modes. Offline only offers two players because the aspect ratio in Uncharted can't support a four player very easily. There is both offline, split-screen co-op and online (split-screen or not) co-op with up to three players. While this it isn't as good as the Uncharted 2 campaign(IMO), this game still beats any other game out there. While they do not effect the story line they do offer some addition replay value and fun times finding all those evasive things. If you didn't know, throughout all of the Uncharted campaigns there are little ancient artifacts (called treasures) scattered though the levels.
Great campaign, well worth the sixty bucks new. This decreases the deadzone for the aiming sensitivity (this helps, but still a little clunky, although the clunkiness doesn't detract from gameplay). HOWEVER, this is very important, when/if you get this game, in options find the "alternate aiming options" and turn them on. The aiming mechanics left something to be desired. This is a very cinematic game with great action scenes and a great soundtrack. The graphics are amazing, you couldn't ask for better. If you haven't played the first two games, I highly recommend playing them before the third campaign. Not to spoil anything but the campaign builds on many of the relationships between the main characters, focusing mainly on Victor Sullivan and Nathan Drake's relationship and history. BUY THIS GAME!!! Naughty Dog put together a great game with stunning visuals and engaging and entertaining gameplay in the campaign, co-op and competitive modes. If you are thinking about buying this game, I can tell you right now that it is WELL worth your money.
